Who says winter is safe from the sun? With joggers, touch rugby players, and a coffee-loving hero, we’re here to remind you that UV rays don’t take a season off. Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide—and don’t let your guard down this winter!
For this Queensland Health Sun Safety campaign, our goal was to craft a dynamic and engaging series of videos that reminded people that UV rays don’t take a season off—even in winter. Pre-production was meticulously planned to ensure a seamless shoot, including: Location scouting – Selecting diverse outdoor settings that reflected real-life scenarios, from bustling rugby fields to serene hiking trails. Casting coordination – Managing a casting process that presented over 200 talent options for the client to choose from, ensuring authentic representation across the campaign. Detailed shot lists & schedules – Creating a structured yet flexible plan to maximise efficiency across multiple shoot days. With several unique TVCs and social media spots in the pipeline, our team ensured that every detail was considered—from securing locations to curating wardrobe choices that aligned with the Slip, Slop, Slap, Seek, Slide messaging.
Executing a campaign of this scale required a highly skilled crew and a well-coordinated production process. Over the course of five weeks, we filmed multiple storylines, including: The Coffee Guy TVC – A laid-back yet impactful moment, showing how sun protection fits effortlessly into daily routines. Farmer & Tradie Shoots – Highlighting sun exposure risks in outdoor work environments. Touch Rugby & Hikers – Bringing energy and action to the campaign, reinforcing the importance of sun safety even during winter activities. Scar/Mole Campaign & TikTok Reels – Creating punchy, social-friendly content to expand reach and engagement. With nearly 20 crew members and clients on set, we ensured smooth execution through expert lighting setups, professional hair & makeup, and precise shot compositions that balanced both lifestyle realism and visual appeal.
Post-production focused on crafting a cohesive campaign that delivered the message in a way that was engaging, memorable, and visually compelling. The final campaign was launched across TV, digital platforms, and social media, generating widespread awareness and reinforcing the message that sun safety is a year-round priority.
