IPER produced the Goondiwindi Tourism series in collaboration with the Goondiwindi Region Tourism Board, capturing the natural beauty, local spirit and unique landscapes of the region. Concept

For the Goondiwindi Tourism series IPER partnered with the Goondiwindi Region Tourism Board to create a visual celebration of one of Australia’s most captivating regional landscapes. Early planning focused on letting the location’s natural beauty speak for itself, establishing a creative approach rooted in expansive visuals and authentic community connection rather than heavy narration. We worked with the tourism board and local stakeholders to identify key places, moments and people that would best represent what makes Goondiwindi special. The concept aimed to showcase the region with cinematic clarity while making space for the community voices that give it character.

Capture

(2)
Process

The project was shot over multiple days across diverse locations in the Goondiwindi region, capturing everything from sweeping landscapes to intimate local experiences. Production involved extensive collaboration with the community and local businesses, whose insight and participation helped bring each scene to life. The visual focus was on real moments and real places, using natural light and thoughtful compositions to highlight the region’s stunning features. With every frame we aimed to evoke not just a sense of place but a feeling of presence - encouraging viewers to see Goondiwindi through the eyes of those who live, work and explore there.

Craft

In post production the footage was thoughtfully edited into a series that honours both the region’s beauty and the community’s contribution. The edit emphasised storytelling through image and rhythm, allowing the visuals to unfold in ways that feel immersive and reflective. Colour grading enriched the natural tones and enhanced the cinematic look, while sound design helped support the emotional landscape of the visuals. The result is a truly gorgeous and evocative series that invites audiences to experience the Goondiwindi region visually, delivering a compelling tourism asset that feels both genuine and striking.

It was clear from the outset of our engagement with IPER that they understood what we were trying to achieve and was keen to work collaboratively with us to bring that vision to life. IPER took our ideas and knew how to best execute them. The team at IPER were a pleasure to work with and turned potentially stressful filming days into a really enjoyable, creative and rewarding process.

We have used Iper for a number of different media outputs including showcasing our school’s research programs as well as advertising new courses. Throughout this process, Travis and his team have been highly professional in the script development, filming and final editing. Importantly the responses we have received from a diverse range of viewers has been very positive, I have no hesitation in recommending Iper for future work.
