IPER produced a live action video for HBF explaining the Medicare Levy Surcharge using outdoor location footage paired with motion graphics. The final piece combines natural visuals with clear graphic storytelling to make financial information accessible and engaging.
For the Medicare Levy Surcharge project, IPER collaborated with HBF to develop a visual concept that could simplify a complex topic in a clear, engaging way. The goal was to translate technical information into content that feels accessible, informative and visually cohesive. Early planning focused on selecting a natural outdoor setting that would provide an open, friendly backdrop while complementing the motion graphics that would help illustrate key points. The creative approach balanced live action delivery with motion graphic overlays to make financial information easy to understand.


Production took place on location outdoors, where the subject was filmed delivering core messages directly into camera. Filming in natural light gave the video a dynamic and approachable feel, while careful framing ensured space for motion graphics throughout the piece. The live action footage was designed to feel engaging and authentic, using real surroundings to ground the topic in the everyday. This setup also allowed for a seamless integration of animated elements that help explain the Medicare Levy Surcharge in a way that is visually supportive and easy to follow.


In post production the live action footage and motion graphics were woven together to create a confident and informative final film. Editing focused on rhythm and clarity, allowing the narrative to unfold with visual cues that reinforce key takeaways.
